What We Teach

Dance Styles

Ballet

The foundation of all dance. Classical technique builds strength, flexibility, posture, and grace that carries into every other style.

Tap

Rhythm, musicality, and footwork precision. Tap develops a unique sense of timing and turns dancers into musicians with their feet.

Jazz

Energy, style, and sharp movement. Jazz builds performance quality, coordination, and the showmanship that lights up the stage.

Hip Hop

Street-style movement, isolations, and groove. A high-energy class where kids build confidence and learn to move with attitude and control.

Lyrical / Contemporary

Emotional storytelling through movement. Blends ballet and jazz technique with expressive, fluid choreography that connects music to feeling.

Ages 14–18

Pointe

The pinnacle of ballet training. For advanced dancers with the strength and technique to safely dance en pointe. By instructor recommendation.

Questions?

Parent FAQ

What age can my child start dance?
We accept students starting at age 3. Our beginner combo classes are designed specifically for our youngest dancers, introducing ballet, tap, and jazz in a fun, age-appropriate way that builds coordination and a love for movement.
Does my child need dance experience to join?
Not at all. We welcome beginners at every age level. Our programs are structured so that students build skills progressively, starting from the fundamentals. Placement is based on age and experience, and our instructors meet every dancer where they are.
What should my child wear to class?
Each style has a recommended dress code — typically a leotard and tights for ballet, comfortable fitted clothing for jazz and hip hop, and tap shoes for tap class. For the first trial class, comfortable clothing your child can move in is perfectly fine. We'll provide a full dress code guide at registration.
Can my child take multiple styles?
Absolutely — and we encourage it! Many of our dancers take two or three classes per week in different styles. Multi-class tuition rates offer significant savings, and cross-training in multiple styles makes for a stronger, more versatile dancer.
Is there a recital at the end of the season?
Yes! Our season culminates in a spring recital where every dancer gets to perform on stage. It's a highlight of the year for students and families alike. Recital participation is included in tuition — there is a separate costume fee that will be communicated early in the season.
Can I watch my child's class?
We have a comfortable lobby with viewing windows so parents can watch classes without disrupting the learning environment. During the first trial class, you're welcome to observe and see how your child responds to the experience.
